Q at North of Center diverted my attention from the state of the nation by mentioning "puppies", a word that has an almost hypnotic effect on me.
These little guys are wolf hybrid pups -- I used to breed them about 15 years ago, and had 3 of my own for years (dad, mom and first-born son). Beautiful, intelligent, super-sensitive, really awesome companions. Terrible guard dogs, though. My house was once broken into with 2 dogs outside and one inside -- she kept the bed from being stolen, I suppose. I used to call her a "watch" dog because she'd watch them break in, watch them take my stuff, and watch them leave. But I loved her anyway. (Okay, cute puppy time over, back to regularly-scheduled snark.)
