Turkeys! There's 2 of them up on the roof -- it's dusk, so it's hard to see, but they're behind the green branch. The white things are bread crumbs I threw up there for them. (The big one is still on the ground, pigging out.)
I haven't seen them for days and I was afraid they were hanging somewhere, headless, being prepared for next week's feast.
These turkeys are survivors. (There used to be 6, though. Guess they didn't make the cut.)
