The Godfather of Soul passed away yesterday at 73.
I remember (warning: old fart story alert) when every boy I knew with the name "Jim" was suddenly demanding to be called "James", because of JB. And every one of them split their pinstriped stovepipe pants trying to imitate Brown's moves on the dancefloor.
