Another day
another meteorological alert. We were totally blindsided by this one: it rained, it snowed, the wind was crazy, and the hydro was conspicuous in its absence . Now that it's back on I'm waiting patiently for the water heater to re-heat so I can take a goddam shower. (When the dog backs away as you try to pet her, you know it's time to hose down.)
The weirdest thing is that it's warm out right now -- warm like springtime warm. This afternoon it was 2 below and snowing, and now at almost midnight it's warm.
