Oh my. The Pro-Choice wish is only 219 votes behind "Abolish Abortion" on CBC's Great Canadian Wish List.
The difference is that a few days ago the pro-choice side, most of whom hadn't taken this thing seriously enough to get a facebook profile and vote, heaved a sigh, looked heavenward ("How long, lord, how long?") and started mobilizing their support. Yesterday alone they closed the support gap by over 400 votes, and with another 10 days...? Given that the anti-choice side has been similarly mobilizing for this from Day One, sadly I think they may have already blown their load.
What's interesting about this is that it's really the kids doing it all, forming pro-choice facebook networks to get out the vote -- no subversive feminazi group stepped in to order them around and tell them what to do. Unlike *cough* some peeps.
