"Nothing occurred during the 2 hours and 5 minutes of the transfer that required Cheney to take official action, Stanzel said."
Whew!
During Cheney's 125-minute Reign of Terror, gas prices didn't skyrocket, nobody bombed Iran, no old lawyers were "peppered with birdshot" (at least not by Cheney. This time.), martial law was not declared and elections weren't abolished... life pretty much carried on as always. But it made me think about the wisdom of impeaching Georgie... clearly there's someone else that needs impeaching first (unless it's possible to do a two-fer).
Oh, and Georgie is fine -- the brain tumour they were looking for did not materialize, however they weren't able to extract his impacted head. Business as usual!
