What's the matter with Kansas?

From schools that want to teach creationism in science class, to professors who get the crap beat out of them for proposing to teach courses called "Special Topics in Religion: Intelligent Design, Creationism and other Religious Mythologies", evidence abounds that something's the matter with Kansas. Something in the water maybe? An answer may be closer after a discovery this week:"WICHITA, Kansas, July 3, 2007 - If you are a parent, then you know kids will sometimes bring home a new pet. But when a little boy brought home a 9-legged frog, some adults got worried.

Over near Greenwich and Kellogg, there's a new attraction for the kids in the neighborhood. Looking from above, it's a frog that may seem normal. But with a closer look, it's clear there is a problem.

The kids have named him "Leggy"."

"Something in the water" is looking better all the time.
