Hoho! It's never too early to pop the champagne corks for this kind of news! Okay, so that's two (2) NON-freeped polls that say the majority of Canadians support Morgentaler's induction to the Order of Canada. Can we get a little ShutTheFuckUp from the fetus fetishists now please?
As Scott points out, what this shows is that the "widespread outrage" over the appointment that was being claimed by anti-choicers is largely being generated by a small but vocal and well-organized minority.
It's true -- anti-choicers have been feverishly freeping every online poll on this subject in order to prove some kind of point. While I'll cast a vote in an internet poll, I never bother with counter-freeping and I'm sure most other pro-choicers are the same way. It's a pointless exercise: who cares what internet polls say when they're so imminently manipulable? And when you've got real poll results on your side, hell yeah, let them freep away!
