Most of us were rightly appalled at Ahmadinejad's answer to a question about the plight of gays in Iran: "We don't have that phenomenon".

Apparently he doesn't check out the Mr. Gay International competition, because last year there was a Mr. Gay Iran vying for the title.

Ironically, Mr. Gay Iran didn't win the competition -- it was won by Mr. Gay Israel.
