Lunar Eclipse tonight

The show starts tonight at about 8:30(EST) -- the total eclipse should happen by around 10pm.

I saw one of these things a few years ago -- it was absolutely breathtaking. Before the eclipse, the moon turns totally red -- an awesome, beautiful and primordial sight that immediately made me imagine the alarm and consternation it would have caused to our long-ago ancestors.

Catch it tonight, it won't happen again until December 20, 2010.

UPDATE: Here's an animated site that shows the What and When of tonight's eclipse.
