Black on Mercer tonight

Well, he doesn't look like he has a sense of humour...

... but maybe he does! Rick Mercer's season premiere tonight features Lord Tubby of Crossdresser, Conrad Black. I just saw a bit from it and it looks like it might be funny... if you can handle humour that's as painfully pedantic as the circumloquacious scrawlings produced when Lord Black puts quill to parchment and issues forth with his tedious and platitudinous ruminations... zzzzzzzzzzzzzz I'm sure Mercer will keep everyone awake.

A little pre-incarceration fashion advice

Black guilty on 3 counts

of Mail Fraud and 1 count of Obstruction of Justice.

Not guilty on all other counts (so far).

Colour me shocked.

They're saying he might be incarcerated immediately!? And poor little Lord Crossdresser (or whatever the fuck he calls himself) isn't a Canadian citizen anymore, so if he does time he'll be doing it in one of the USA's fine institutions.

Aaaaaand... lawyers observing the case are saying he'll probably do 3-9 years, minimum security prison in the US (not as bad as max, but still not a country club).

No big surprise update - Little Lord Assbarber will be launching an appeal. What a waste of taxpayers' money!!!
