Al-Pieda is becoming emboldened. Yesterday the mayor of Calgary got a taste of banana cream terrorism:
"CALGARY (CP) - Calgary Mayor Dave Bronconnier is the latest victim of a pie attack.
Bronconnier was walking along the street near City Hall on Thursday morning when a woman walked up to him and hit him in the face with a pie. Police immediately tackled the woman. Donna McPhee, 56, is charged with assault with a weapon and drug possession."
Assault with a weapon? A pie? But never mind that, what really got my attention was the drug possession charge. Drug possession? If I was planning on doing something that would almost guarantee some kind of law enforcement intervention, such as smashing a pie into the face of a government official (even a municipal one!), I think I'd stash the drugs!?
