Last summer during the FD debacle, I meant to post this vid of Frank Zappa on Crossfire discussing free speech, and was reminded of it again when I saw it a few days ago on the Wise Law Blog. Zappa was a libertarian conservative. During this vid, one can't help but notice that the panelist most shriekingly opposed to the concept of totally free expression is a social conservative. What does that tell us? To me it says that the free speech they've been clamouring for since the Levant/AHRC affair isn't free speech at all -- it's just their version of it.
