In an interview today on ABC, George W was asked about an exit strategy proposed by the Iraq Study Group which was described as somewhere between "cut and run" and "stay the course". With mindblowing disingenuousness, Georgie responded: "We've never been stay the course".
Never been stay the course? How he can say that when documented evidence clearly indicates otherwise is astonishing, astounding and more than a bit insulting to the American electorate, the intended beneficiaries of this bullshit. The polls have spoken: "stay the course" has fallen out of favour with voters, so the bush administration will deny, deny, deny ever having said it.
