London North Centre byelection -- Woohoo!
The Liberals won at 34.9% of the vote, leaving fundie-whackjob-homophobe-idiot Conservative candidate Dianne Haskett in the dust, baby! Haskett managed to squeeze out 24.4% of the vote from the Cretin Contigent. Seriously, what was this woman doing even running for office? She just spent the last 6 years in DC working for that screeching dingbat Elizabeth Dole... I mean, please.
This was a byelection a lot of people were watching because it's considered a bellwether riding, and an indication of how Canadian voters are feeling about the conservative party at the moment. Not too warm and fuzzy, I'd say! Ha!! Results here.
