Now that the presidential election is over

I'll really miss this kind of batshittery:
"NEWSWEEK has also learned that Palin's shopping spree at high-end department stores was more extensive than previously reported."
MORE than $150,000? You're shittin' me:
"One senior aide said that Nicolle Wallace had told Palin to buy three suits for the convention and hire a stylist. But instead, the vice presidential nominee began buying for herself and her family—clothes and accessories from top stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. According to two knowledgeable sources, a vast majority of the clothes were bought by a wealthy donor, who was shocked when he got the bill.
But after she burned through the campaign's clothing budget, she stopped, right?

Palin also used low-level staffers to buy some of the clothes on their credit cards. The McCain campaign found out last week when the aides sought reimbursement. One aide estimated that she spent "tens of thousands" more than the reported $150,000, and that $20,000 to $40,000 went to buy clothes for her husband.
Oh well, at least all the clothing was given to charity... wasn't it?
Some articles of clothing have apparently been lost. An angry aide characterized the shopping spree as "Wasilla hillbillies looting Neiman Marcus from coast to coast," and said the truth will eventually come out when the Republican Party audits its books."
Hold the phone! Run that by me again?
"An angry aide characterized the shopping spree as "Wasilla hillbillies looting Neiman Marcus from coast to coast..."
The Wasilla Hillbilly in 2012? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Dobson predicts grim future

Freak out! Sensing that his undue influence on government is about to come to an apocalyptic end in short order, James Dobson of Focus on the Family has been feverishly firing out frighteningly hysterical missives that predict the Horrors to come should Barack Obama win the US election five (5) days from now. "An Obama Nation is an Abomination!" Some of Dobson's dire predictions include:
"Terrorist strikes on four American cities. Russia rolling into Eastern Europe. Israel hit by a nuclear bomb. Gay marriage in every state. The end of the Boy Scouts.

All are plausible scenarios if Democrat Barack Obama is elected president, according to a new addition to the campaign conversation called "Letter from 2012 in Obama's America," produced by the conservative Christian group Focus on the Family Action."

Terrorist attacks, Putin rearing his head, gay boy scouts, and that's just the beginning. There's also the soon-to-be liberal-leaning SCOTUS, abortion up a month after birth, and the old favourite that Focus on the Family freaks so love to revel in, Religious Persecution. BOOM! POW! Stand back! Fundie heads across the USA are exploding like pin-pricked balloons.

But not everyone's buying Dobson's dubious snake oil, says one Obama-con:
""It looks like, walks like, talks like and smells like desperation to me," said the Rev. Kirbyjon Caldwell of Houston, an Obama supporter who backed President Bush in the past two elections. The Methodist pastor called the 2012 letter "false and ridiculous." He said it showed that some Christian conservative leaders fear that Obama's faith-based appeals to voters are working."
Dobson's right about one thing, though: the future is looking pretty grim... for HIM. Bye-bye, dickhead, get familiar with the political wilderness. Lay in lots of supplies, you'll be out there a loooooooooooooong time.

Desperation

Shorter GOP staffer: "That morally-bankrupt, thieving Democrat erased the tape from the bug we illicitly planted on his podium to catch any off-the-record gaffes he might make during a debate! Arrest him, officer!"

"Last week, Sen. Mitch McConnell (R) squared off in a debate with Democratic challenger Bruce Lunsford. But on Lunsford's podium a GOP operative had placed a small voice recorder, presumably to pick up some off-mic comments Lunsford might make -- apparently a violation of the debate rules.

(The recorder itself -- sans recording -- was eventually returned.)" [...]

"And now St. Onge and the chairman of McConnell's campaign have filed a criminal complaint against Lunsford for petty larceny and destruction of property -- because of the erasure." (emphasis smirkingly mine)
Isn't this a little like calling the cops to report that someone ripped off your drug stash?

And Mitch McConnell... Mitch McConnell... hmmm... Oh yes, that fine upstanding example of GOP values.

Class act

We already know SaWah's a classless moron, and apparently her hubby "the first dude" isn't averse to slopping around in the same sty and stirring up the same shit as she does. Here's the Toddster holding a sign at a rally in Minnesota:

Hahaha ha ha... "Charles Manson Was A Community Organizer", what a knee-slapper. Addressing the drooling, grunting crowd, Todd said he was "just glad to be a part of the McCain/Palin ticket"... huh? Hello? What's he running for??

The Hate Talk Express

The McCain campaign, and particularly Palin, wrenched open a putrid can of worms with their over-the-top, racially-tinged rhetoric last week. It was just a dog-whistle, but the low-functioning cretins who make up the GOP's base got the message loud and clear, and they're responding in kind:
"As the crowd cheered at a Sarah Palin rally this morning in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, a man in the audience grinned as he held up a stuffed monkey doll with a Barack Obama bumper sticker wrapped across its forehead." [...]

"After Palin finished her remarks this morning, the man holding the stuffed monkey seemed to notice that a video camera was pointed at him, at which point he removed the Obama sticker from the doll’s head and crumpling it up in his hand."
You bought it, you own it -- "buy the ticket, take the ride" (as HST would say). Nice work, McCain/Palin.

But but but

but yesterday the McCain campaign cleared her!!!:
"Report reveals Palin abused power...

A 263-page report that was released following a six-hour hearing reveals that investigator Steve Branchflower concluded that Mrs Palin was guilty of violating state ethics rules for public officials.

The investigator said Mrs Palin had allowed her husband Todd Palin to use the Alaska Governor's office and its resources to pressure officials to sack trooper Mike Wooten, her former brother-in-law."

Say it ain't so, Sarah, say it ain't so! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

UPDATE: From TPM Muck, all you ever wanted to know about Troopergate. HAHAHAHAHA!

"Kill him"???

And we're the ones right-whiners call "incivil"??:

""Now it turns out, one of his earliest supporters is a man named Bill Ayers," Palin said.

"Boooo!" said the crowd.

"And, according to the New York Times, he was a domestic terrorist and part of a group that, quote, 'launched a campaign of bombings that would target the Pentagon and our U.S. Capitol,'" she continued.

"Boooo!" the crowd repeated.

"Kill him!" proposed one man in the audience." (emphasis mine)

Of course, Palin immediately rebuked this despicable response, because that's, um, you know, the right thing to do, and -- what? She didn't? No, she just carried on with her hateful rant, pleased with the mindless fury she was whipping up in her audience of vicious, brain-damaged rednecks. And McCain? Hell, he's just as bad as she is.

UPDATE: JA Baker has more, including McCain's own suspicious ties.

CBC: Canadian Butt-kissing Corporation

It's been over 3 weeks since Heather Mallick's withering opinion piece about despicable moron Sarah Palin ran on the CBC's website and the crybaby wingnuts have been bawling about it ever since, with the National Post's Kay family leading the charge. Oh boo hoo hoo! Sob! SHRIEEEEEK!

Now the CBC has caved -- caved! -- to right-wingnut pressure, removed the column from its website and published a whimpering "mea culpa":
"More than 300 people have taken the trouble this month to complain to the CBC ombudsman about a column we ran on CBCNews.ca about Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin on Sept. 5. The column, by award-winning freelance writer Heather Mallick, was also pilloried by the National Post in Canada and by Fox News in the U.S. … Vince Carlin, the CBC Ombudsman, has now issued his assessment of the Mallick column. He doesn't fault her for riling readers by either the caustic nature of her tone or the polarizing nature of her opinion. But he objects that many of her most savage assertions lack a basis in fact. And he is certainly correct. Mallick's column is a classic piece of political invective. It is viciously personal, grossly hyperbolic and intensely partisan. And because it is all those things, this column should not have appeared on the CBCNews.ca site … We failed you in this case. And as a result we have put new editing procedures in place to insure that in the future, work that is not appropriate for our platforms, will not appear."
"Viciously personal, grossly hyperbolic and intensely partisan". Uh... I can has "Viewpoint"? What part of the word "viewpoint" is so hard to understand!??

Frankly, 300 complaints doesn't sound like a lot to me, given that the column was discussed on Fox News, the O'Reilly show and other right-wing outlets whose audiences are notorious for having nothing better to do but freep polls and complain about "left-wing bias". Oh well... at the center of the storm is the fact that the CBC is taxpayer-funded, and therefore has no business publishing opinion pieces that don't have a consensus of agreement with 100% of taxpayers. (Ignoring for a moment the fact that the vast majority of Canadians likely agree with the gist of Mallick's comments about Caribou Barbie.)

Public consensus for opinion pieces because of taxpayer funding? Get real. I look at it this way: I have no kids in school, yet I pay taxes for schools. I have no use for churches, yet I subsidize them through tax breaks, even as some of their more rabid members try to bully their way into public policy-making. If the CBC is to have a "Viewpoint" column at all, sooner or later there will be viewpoints that don't have consensus. TOUGH! SHIT!

The taxpayer funding issue is kind of a red herring anyway, since almost everyone gets some (yes, that's the Western Standard that sucked up $132,063 of MY MONEY in its death throes last year -- why wasn't I consulted?). As usual, it boils down to the right's psychotic intolerance for opinions they don't agree with: free speech for me, but not for Heather Mallick. It really is that simple.

And anyway, what about the taxpayers who agree with Mallick? What are we, chopped liver? Thanks a pantload, CBC!

UPDATE: Mallick's column was so evil, odious and disgusting that these guys are doing somersaults trying to find it again: "It's here", "Try here", "Find it here". Huh!? Guys, mission accomplished -- you got Mallick censored. Now you want to read the column again? Jesus fucking DUH! (h/t CC)

UPDATE II: Even better.

UPDATE III: psa speaks, you listen.

Bastards

From Defenders of Wildlife, a video about Sarah Palin's support for the aerial *cough* "hunting" *cough* of wolves:

If the wolves aren't shot dead from the plane, they're chased until they run themselves into exhaustion... in other words, tortured. And we know what studies show about people who get a charge out of torturing animals. Only a sick bastard could support this vicious, brutal practice.

Just one more in a growing list of ways that Palin is a fucking disgrace.

Oh boo hoo hoo!

Somebody call the wahhhhmbulance! A California couple who got married in a church refuses to get a state marriage license because the licenses say (cue ominious music):

"Party A" and "Party B"

rather than "Bride" and "Groom". SHRIEEEEEEK!:
"Last month, Rachel Bird exchanged vows with Gideon Codding in a church wedding in front of family and friends. As far as Bird is concerned, she is a bride.

To the state of California, however, she is either "Party A" or "Party B."

Those are the terms that have replaced "bride" and "groom" on the state's new gender-neutral marriage licenses. And to Bird and Codding, that is unacceptable.

"We are traditionalists – we just want to be called bride and groom," said Bird, 25, who works part time for her father's church. "Those words have been used for generations and now they just changed them.

In May, after the California State Supreme Court ruled same-sex marriage legal, the courts mandated state officials to provide gender-neutral licenses and other marriage forms. "Bride" and "groom" became "Party A" and "Party B.""

No Bridie/Groomie, oh boo hoo hoo. Who cares what the government calls you on a license? Not me -- we're all just shit on a stick to them anyway. But this odious little foot-stomping tantrum goes deeper than just the designations on a license -- I doubt they'd have any problem with the change if it had been made as a matter of administrative course, and had nothing to do with (cue ominous music)

same-sex marriage.

But, haha, the happy bigoted couple's decision to opt out of a marriage license has brought up a whole raft of other issues, like Party A not being able to sign up for Party B's medical benefits. Which they're bitching and whining about, somehow blissfully unaware of the irony that this is why the licenses were changed in the first place.

The evil swirling vortex of stupid claims two more victims -- Victim A and Victim B.

Barbara Kay, unhinged

As I mentioned earlier, slogging through the product of Barbara Kay's delusional sludgetrap of a mind is a trying business for me. Lines like this:
"But win or lose the election, Sarah Palin has already altered the cultural landscape of America, possibly of the Western world. In years to come, social archeologists will mark her speech as the official beginning of an end to the gender wars, and, one hopes, a return to trust and collaboration between the sexes."
...send my bullshit-o-meter screaming dangerously past redline and make it impossible for me to continue reading without serious abdominal upset. Thankfully, others have the bullshit resistance that I do not, and are able to pick up the slack.

Feel that Culture-of-Life love

John McCain might want to re-think his decision to choose a member of the Christian Taliban as his VP -- her rabid fans are praying for his "speedy death":

What? I said "speedy death", dammit:

Teh Googles have a long memory, and Teh Screenshot captures those magic moments for, well, eternity.

Bubble zones and bubbleheads

Yesterday a gratuitous 10-year waste of the court's time and taxpayers' money culminated in the BC Court of Appeals ruling that the 50-metre "bubble zones" around womens' clinics do not violate the free speech rights of the anti-abortion protesters that infest the surrounding areas:
"A Canadian appeals court on Thursday upheld a provincial "bubble zone" law that limited protests around abortion clinics in British Columbia.

The three-judge panel rejected the claims of anti-abortion activists and civil libertarians that the law violated rights of free expression by stopping protesters from talking to women entering the clinics." [...]

"Two western Canadian anti-abortion activists, Donald Spratt and Gordon Watson, violated the law in 1998 outside the Everywoman's Health Clinic in an effort to have the law struck down by the courts.

The men argued unsuccessfully that protection zone was too large and that even if it had been needed at the time it was enacted it was no longer necessary because the tone of anti-abortion protests had changed."

How totally vomitous. These two guys want to get closer to the clinic so they can bully and berate the patients... and who-knows-what else? Take pictures of staff? Record license plate numbers? Leave a bomb? These people are bugfuck nuts and they've proven time and again that they can't be trusted, that's why there are bubble zones to keep them at bay. But the contention that the bubble zone law violates freedom of speech because, waaaahhh! protesters can't get close enough to really harrass the patients, is ludicrous. By that logic, stalking laws must also violate free speech.

Nobody's telling these cretins they can't say whatever they want to say -- they just can't say it that close to the clinic. They're free to jabber and foam all they want at a distance of 50 metres.

Bubble zones exist to protect the patients. This year, fetus fetishists have made a big show about how their dear departed Bill C-484 "protects pregnant women" (which it doesn't, but that's another story) -- obviously, in their view, some women are more deserving of protection than others.

Fetus Fetishists Ladies' Auxiliary responds to KLRVU poll stomp

Oh dear, our relentless beatdown of the propagandalicious Klrvu poll has Andrea and Brigitte at "ProWomanProLife" beaking off:

As the girls no doubt know (but I'd hardly expect them to admit), the attention garnered by the ludicrous KLRVU poll hasn't been about the poll itself as much as the subterfuge and dishonesty surrounding it. A sham "poll" was done for the express purpose of producing propaganda -- the only irony is that anti-choicers obstinately refuse to see what's right in front of their faces.

As for where we get the idea that being anti-abortion means wanting to control other peoples' sex lives, we need look no further than the anti-contraception propaganda spewed by these same people. Given that contraception is the only thing short of abstinence that prevents unwanted pregnancy, it seems like an odd position for an anti-abortion person to take... unless... unless... bingo! Unless they wanted to control other peoples' sex lives!

Speaking of "other peoples' sex lives", I wonder if Andrea's still with the "Institute for Marriage & Family", who eventually gave up their fight against equal marriage (or so they said), but still publishes articles with alarming titles like "Bringing the State Back Into the Bedrooms of the Nation". (Yeeow! Can you say "Nanny statist"?)

Pissed off that your poll was outed as a sham? Tough. We're onto you people. Take your sanctimonious platitudes and stuff them.

There's batshit and bad shit

Anyone with even a passing familiarity with the most virulent fetus fetishists and homophobic whackjobs in Canada has heard of extremist shrieker Bill Whatcott. When "Wartcott" isn't stuffing gross abortion pictures or anti-gay propaganda into the mailboxes of unsuspecting homeowners (and oh how I wish I could catch him trying to pull that on my property), he's happily marching at the head of gay pride parades carrying signs denouncing the evil Rainbow Conspiracy. And of course, famously (and repeatedly) posting pictures of anal warts, prolapsed rectums and other ass issues (assues!) on FD and whatever other sites still allow him to do his strange and scummy thing -- hence the nickname, "Wartcott".

Predictably, Wartcott is anything but pleased with the Morgentaler Order of Canada award, and went out of his way to express his displeasure scatalogically. Who knew that "feces flinging" was more than a metaphor!? Astonishingly, the post where Wartcott delightedly describes how he shat on a picture of the Order of Canada and mailed it to the GG sat festering in the Blogging Tories message bowl for at least half a day before it was flushed. Hopefully it was there long enough for Stephen Harper to get an up-close look at his socon base.

Wartcott's clearly gone the extra distance and outdone himself this time; pictures of anal warts pale in comparison to the transmission of an actual turd via Canada Post. Maybe it's time to leave anal warts behind (heh) and come up with a new nickname for Wartcott, one that more aptly personifies the new nadir of rotten creepiness he's achieved... Shitcott? Crapcott? Sir-Crap-A-Lot?

While we're at it, maybe we could help SUZANNE come up with a name for the new conservative version of the Order of Canada that she's proposing. Order of Wankerda? Odour of Canada? Brainstorm, guys, brainstorm!

Thursday, July 03, 2008

Well well well...

... look who stopped drooling and hyperventilating over the "Young People Fucking" movie long enough to emerge from under his shit-encrusted, semen-stained rock to bitch about Dr. Morgentaler's Order of Canada. Yeah, you know who: it's none other than that would-be censor of Canadian movies and self-appointed arbiter of all that is Pure and Moral, Chuck McVety:
"The Canada Family Action Coalition says it has filed an official request to have the Governor General strip Henry Morgentaler of his membership to the Order of Canada.

President Charles McVety says the abortion pioneer's conduct is unbecoming of a member of the Order of Canada."

Dr. Morgentaler's "conduct is unbecoming"? Oh yeah? How so?

"The coalition is citing the Constitution of the Order of Canada in its request and says Morgentaler's conduct fits the criteria to lose his membership.

The constitution states that termination of a person's membership can be considered if their behaviour "constitutes a significant departure from generally-recognized standards of public behaviour which is seen to undermine the credibility, integrity or relevance of the Order."

It also states that termination be considered if the member "has been subject to official sanction, such as a fine or a reprimand, by an adjudicating body, professional association or other organization."

McVety says Morgentaler's admission that he broke the law and the fact he had his medical license suspended for one year by the Professional Corporation of Physicians of Quebec means he should lose his membership."

Is that a fact!?? Why, you sanctimonious little fuck of a half-bright, twisted freak. Want to talk about lawbreakers and the Order of Canada? What about Conrad Black? He's such a lawbreaker that he's still in the joint, with his Order of Canada decorating the wall of his cell. The fact is, Dr. Morgentaler didn't just break a law; he stood up to an unjust law, helped millions of women in the process and cemented our reproductive rights as a result. What unjust law did Lord Tubby stand up to? Who has he helped? He's a common thief and a greedhead who got caught with his hand in the till. Certainly this is a lot more offensive than any lawbreaking Morgentaler's done, so why haven't you joined the NDP to demand Black's Order of Canada also be revoked? Because you're a hypocrite, that's why!

And hey, Chuck -- while we're on the topic of lawbreakers and dishonesty and all that, maybe we should talk about that "doctorate" of yours?

This is what happens...

...when these stupid anti-choice bastards intervene and try to keep an 10-year-old victim of child abuse from having an abortion. The kid finally ends up having the procedure, but because of all the interference from the spittle-flecked godbags and drooling fetus fetishists, she has to have it late-term:
"A 11-year-old rape victim has been flown to the UK for an abortion after she was refused a termination in her native Romania.

The girl was just 10 years old when she was allegedly raped twice by a 19-year-old man while staying with his family at a village in Neamt in east of the country." [...]

"Two medical panels have so far examined the girl who is now 21 weeks pregnant.

The first found in favour of an abortion – but the second rejected an operation describing the pregnancy as "natural".

The second panel said: "Having examined the girl, the panel observes that the pregnancy is proceeding naturally and therefore that termination should not be imposed."

What kind of vicious, evil scum would say that the pregnancy of a 10 (now 11)-year-old child, the result of child-rape, is anything even close to "natural"? As if this kid hasn't already had enough trauma, these slobbering sons-of-bitches would force her to spend 9 months remembering and reflecting on it as her abdomen expands relentlessly, then reliving it as she finally gives birth to the product of her worst moment.

Fortunately, compassion and common sense prevailed and the girl will now be able to end the nightmare and start the healing. But having been held up for weeks, the abortion will be late-term, which is bound to be a reason for virulent anti-choicers to shriek.

One couldn't be blamed for wondering if this is one of the reasons they intervene so tenaciously -- if they can't stop the procedure, they'll at least have one more late-term abortion to bitch about.

C-10 Smackdown

Today, Chuck McVety's rotten and twisted censorship dreams were dashed upon the rocks of reason, sanity and freedom by two Liberal Senators:
"Senators Francis Fox and Wilfred Moore today made public the amendments that Liberal Senators intend to introduce when the Standing Senate Committee on Banking, Trade and Commerce proceeds to the Clause by Clause examination of Bill C-10." [...]

"The changes proposed by Senators Fox and Moore would:
1. Remove the power for the Minister of Heritage to refuse tax credits based on "public policy" or to issue guidelines about film content, while at the same time safeguarding the right to deny funds when the production itself is contrary to the Criminal Code;
2. Give producers an efficient judicial appeal mechanism if the Minister blocks or delays funding;
3. Continue to prevent government funding of pornography, child pornography, and hate propaganda."
My favourite part is #3 -- "continue to prevent government funding of pornography..." See? Unlike the lies that Mr. McVety and his fellow social conservative nanny-statist travellers would have us believe, there was never a need to deny tax credits or dictate "content guidelines" in order to stop (SHRIEEEK!) the funding of porn: it was already being prevented. However, the funding of movies deemed "OFFENSIVE!" by Mr. McVety is not being prevented, and boo friggin hoo, tough shit. Apparently, Mr. McVety badly miscalculated -- "Canadian values" don't include censorship of the arts after all.

PSA has more.

Won't someone think of the children?

Here's a story to get your week off to a running pissed-off start on a Monday morning.

You have to wonder about the mentality of some of the people that bitch and whine about being persecuted for hate speech, when someone among them turns around and does something like this:
"A four-year-old girl found a severed pig's head bearing a slur against Muslims on the front steps of her family's home in Ottawa's west end over the weekend."

The Ottawa police hate crimes unit is investigating the incident, said an Ottawa police news release. Investigators believe the animal's head was left between 3 a.m. and 8 a.m. Saturday."
Don't even ask me what I'd do if that was my kid. Just ponder: why do Islamophobes hate the children?

AFTERTHOUGHT: I'm well aware that not every xenophobic nut is hateful enough to engage in the kind of activity described in this story. But it's worth pointing out in relation the ongoing issue of "threats to free speech", since douchebags like this are themselves threats to free speech, they just don't seem to know it.

Miserable fucking lying douchebag

BOOM! Oh yeah, did I hit the ground running today! I didn't wake up this morning as much as I was catapulted from my bed by an explosion of incendiary wrath. My mood is foul, to say the least, and my heart is full of loathing and disgust for everything that calls itself *gag* "pro-life".

The source of my irritation this morning is something I read late last night. Everyone knows anti-choicers are liars... not "tend to be", not "sometimes", not "occasionally stretch the truth"... they're out-and-out, bald-faced, "lips-are-moving"-type liars. But sometimes their lies are so outrageous and insulting that even for them it's remarkable. Pro-choicers expect to be dumped on by these fetus fetishizing fuckwads; it doesn't bother us, and can in fact be amusing. But when they twist a tragic story and insult the families of victims, it chafes.

Here is the tragic story:
"Manon Jones, 18, from Caernarfon, Gwynedd fell ill after the surgery and admitted herself to hospital, where she died." [...] "The inquest on Thursday heard how Miss Jones, a Christian who had an active social life with the church, had decided to terminate her pregnancy because she had concerns for her boyfriend and his family who were Muslims.

Following the procedure, she went on holiday, despite medical advice not to.

She cut short her break after feeling ill and returned to Bristol, where she was a student, and admitted herself into Southmead Hospital.

Blood tests showed she needed a blood transfusion, however she was left waiting for the blood when another emergency broke out on the ward and her condition deteriorated resulting in her needing life support.

Post-mortem tests showed she died of low haemoglobin levels and shock caused by "retained products of conception" - the embryo."

How unbelievably sad, because the woman's death could have been so easily avoided had everyone followed the proper procedures. But nothing is sacred (except the fetus) to the lying asslicking motherfuck who provides the following deliberate and disrespectful misrepresentation of the story:

Got that? Dumbfuck shits on the woman's grieving boyfriend with his sleazy insinuation of coercion, then engages in a little misogynist fantasy role-playing (I wonder how many times he came in his pants typing that bit about kicking the woman in the stomach). As always, there's the obligatory hysterical nod to pro-choice opposition to Bill C-484: "She's gotta die so I can have my freedom of choice". A supposed insult (yawn) based on fantasy, it's a little astonishing since Bill C-484 would have done nothing to prevent this woman's death (had she been Canadian). In fact, it might well have given her boyfriend a walk if he had been responsible for her death (as this brain-damaged douchebag seems to be suggesting). But imbeciles like this never let reality get in the way of a good explosion of blog-arrhea, do they?

Bang! Got that outta my system, now I'm happy (albeit in a dangerous way).

UPDATE: Birth Pangs weighs in.
